The invention relates to mechanical engineering, in particular to actuators of internal combustion engines for compressors. An auxiliary drive of an internal combustion engine for an air compressor is known, comprising a drive gear mounted on the engine output shaft, an intermediate gear wheel mounted on the engine camshaft and kinematically coupled to the drive gear wheel, a driven gear mounted on the crankshaft of a piston compressor, engaged with an intermediate gear wheel. A disadvantage of the known device is the occurrence of shock noise arising in gearing. The purpose of the invention is to reduce the noise level of the side surfaces of the teeth, in particular in the area of the top dead center. FIG. 1 shows an auxiliary drive for an air compressor: FIG. 2 — an assembly of fastening the driven gear with a clamping sleeve; in fig. 3 is a graphical dependence of the magnitude of the normal lateral clearance between the teeth of the intermediate gear mounted on the camshaft and the teeth of the driven gear mounted on. to the crankshaft of the compressor, depending on the angle of rotation of the crankshaft of the compressor. The air-assisted drive of the internal combustion engine of the air compressor contains a drive gear installed on the output shaft of the engine (not shown), an air compressor with cylinder 1i in which is placed a piston 2 connected by a connecting rod 3 to the crankshaft 4. The piston 2 receives a reciprocating motion from the crankshaft 4 through the connecting rod 3. Installing the driven gear 5 with eccentricity about the axis of rotation of the crankshaft 4 reduces the lateral clearance between the teeth gears 5 and 8 at the desired time, i.e. in the area of the piston, in the upper dead point. Practically, when the crankshaft 4 rotates 360 °, a sinusoidal the change in the size of the side gap (Fig. 3).
